Jennifer Aniston’s hairstyle became a phenomenon all on its own, nicknamed ‘The Rachel’. It’s hard to believe, but more than 20 years have passed since we first met Ross, Rachel, Phoebe, Joey, Monica and Chandler. 10FACT No 10
Matt Leblanc only had 11 dollar to his name the day he was hired for friends. He used his first pay check to buy a hot meal- Courteney Cox bought a Porsche with hers.

Monica and Chandler´s apartments changed numbers from 4 and 5 to 19 and 20. Producers realized 4 and 5 weren´t reflective of an upper floor apartment in NYC.

Bruce Willis only appeared in the show as he lost a bet to Matthew Perry. He´d said “The whole 9 yards” wouldn´t top box offices, proved wrong, he guest starred, donating his fee to charity.

In 1993 Matthew Perry pitched Maxwell´s house – a sitcom about a group of 20 somethings. It was declined by NBC who were already working on a similar show – friends.

Courteney Cox appeared in Bruce Springsteen´s “Dancing in the dark” video – she´s pulled on stage to dance. She was person to say the word “period” on TV in an advert for TAMPAX.

Courteney Cox was originally cast as Rachel, but insisted that she play Monica. Jennifer Aniston almost turned down the role to join the “Saturday night Live” cast.
