Different mythical creatures probably don’t just come out of one myth, but are spontaneously included in mythology of numerous cultures around the world. They are usually portrayed as beings like snakes or lizards that hatch from eggs, and have elongated bodies covered with scales; almost always they are portrayed with big eyes, and often (but not always) and with wings breading fire. Sometimes they are portrayed as people with heads of animals, goat’s tale, ears and hooves.
