Cinematography is an expression that in the widest sense encompasses entire activity of producing movies, which includes pre-production, recording, montage, showing, distribution, keeping and archiving. Usually that expression includes individuals and organizations that professionally make movies, such as movie studios, movie theaters, etc.
Movie industry or, how many call it the seventh art, experienced its greatest bloom in the second half of the 20th century. Today that is a pen where hundreds of billions of dollars revolve every year. Just New York industry brings to the city budget close to seven billion dollars a year.
Even though in certain movies millions of dollars get invested, some of them never see the light of day. Lack of funds, content that doesn’t meet the audience requirements, are just some of the reasons that can lead to its failure. For many of them, even the fact that most famous directors and actors were involved in such projects did not help. Look at 10 never shown movies that promised a lot, and ended up in the dump.

“Big Bug Man” is the animated film notable as the film role of Marlon Brando who plays an old lady. Despite a 20 million dollars budget, there is no news of a release.
05A WOMAN OF THE SEA / SEA GULLS
This film is the only one that Charlie Chaplin produced but didn’t direct or write. This drama was deemed commercially unviable and the prints were destroyed.
04THE PIED PIPER OF CLEVELAND
The pied piper of Cleveland is a 1995 documentary movie about the birth of rock and roll, featuring Elvis Presley’s 1st film appearance. Only shown once, its fate remains unknown.
