10 MOST INFAMOUS CRIMINAL COUPLES

These criminals will remain remembered by a large number of crimes that they left behind. These people are responsible for murders, espionage, racketeering, trains and bank robberies. What connects all these criminals and gives them a mutual characteristic is the fact that criminal act were done in pair.

These “two men tandems” due to their large “popularity”, became a type of brand, so that their individual names mean nothing until they are connected to their partner. They were not connected only by those criminal act, those were all good friends, brothers or lovers in the case of Bonnie and Clyde. Look at which 10 most infamous criminal couples are remembered until today.

10NATAN LEOPOLD AND RICHARD LOEB

They were wanted to commit the perfect crime. They killed Loeb´s cousin in 1924 but left evidence at the scene and were arrested.

09ROBERT PARKER AND HARRY LONGABAUGH

They are famous train and bank robbers, known as Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid. Butch and Sundance never captured, they died in a shootout in 1908.

08GILBERTO RODRIGEZ OREJUELA AND MIGUEL RODRIGEZ OREJUELA

Ran the Cali cartel, responsible for 80% of the global cocaine trade, they both captured in 1995 and extradited to the USA.

07JOHN MUHAMMED AND JOHN LEE MALVO

The DC snipers murdered 13 people over three weeks in 2002. Caught sleeping in the car they’d been shooting from.

06JULIUS AND ETHEL ROSENBEG

In 1953 they became the only civilians to be executed for espionage. They supplied A-bomb information to the Soviets.

05RONALD AND REGINALD KRAY

They were gangster twins who ruled London’s east end in the 50s and 60s. Brothers Kray became celebrities, mixing with Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland. Later they convicted for murder.

04FRANK AND JESSE JAMES

Outlaw brothers who started out as Confederate guerrillas in the US Civil War. Accused of bank and train robbers, Jesse was killed for a bounty and Frank retired.

03IAN BRADY AND MYPA HINDLAY

The Moors murders killed five children on Saddleworth Moor in the UK. They were both jailed for life, with Hindley dying in prison.

02WILLIAM BURKE AND WILLIAM HARE

They murdered 16 people and sold the bodies for medical studies. To avoid conviction, Hare testified against Burke, who was hanged in 1829.

01BONNIE PARKER AND CLYDE BARROW

Bonnie and Clyde, romanticized for a 1930s crime spree that included the murders of nine police officers. Eventually shot more than 50 times by police.
