10 MOST DEVASTATING AND BIGGEST NATURAL DISASTERS WITH THE HIGHEST NUMBER OF HUMAN CASUALTIES

Natural disasters occur as the consequence of natural disasters (for example, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, landslides, floods, etc), that go from potential to active phase and influence human activity. In some cases natural disasters lead to the loss of millions of lives and caused billions of dollars in property damage. If we look in the past and analyze all the natural disasters that people encountered, we will notice that their frequency is increasing.

That is partly our fault, disrespectfully treating nature and global warming lead to a chain of events in nature. Only in 2011 damage we sustained from natural disasters reached 380 billion dollars, and 290.000 people lost their lives. Only in the last couple of years we have been threatened by the end of the world, supermoon, earthquakes, tsunamis, asteroid, UV radiation… and we survived it all! Still, apocalyptic prognosis are increasing-new apocalypse awaits us in 2017!. Scientists from all over the world warmed us that in the following years we will experience devastating earthquakes, hurricanes and tsunamis and volcanic eruptions of devastating power. Especially worrisome is the fact that even 50 percent of human population lives in risk prone areas that are often exposed to these accidents.

This time we present to you a list of 10 most dangerous and lethal natural disasters that happened in human history, ordered by the number of victims they caused.
