Believe it or not, apart from animals with STRANGEST DEFENSE MECHANISMS, there are those animals that nature gifted with unbelievable qualities, that are at the same time disgusting and interesting. Some of them can jump so high that in human world that would be equal to jumping over a building. Some of them have very strong faces, poisonous blood the ability to eat anything or are simply indestructible.

Certain poisonous snakes, boas and pitons can feel the body warmth of their prey from distance over a meter. They can do this because they have on their faces holes that detect infrared radiation.

Dust mites are, you can say, indestructible. They were found alive even though they were at the temperature of -200 degrees Celsius, in space, without food and water for longer than one century, exposed to radiation of 570.000 x-rays (while people are killed by 500), and they can take solar, gamma, and ultraviolet radiation and high concentration of salt.

Many super-abilities of certain animals inspired many scientists to transfer those qualities to their inventions. Namely, ability of bats is known and that is to orientate in flight by releasing radio waves. This phenomenon later on served during the invention of radar.
